The creators of the blockchain system Spl.yt for sales management aims to rid the retail market of large intermediaries, like Amazon, directly connecting buyers with sellers.
Sales on Spl.yt go directly with sellers, who can place their goods in the form of tokenized assets on the blockchain. Also blockchain–the system manages the settlement of transactions and records customer reviews.
The creators of the platform argue that for a small Commission on each purchase, sellers will be spared the need to track the availability of goods, since the blockchain–system will be engaged in the calculation. Buyers will be able to purchase goods for not very popular digital currencies and using traditional Bank cards.
Startup Spl.yt plans to open until closed beta platform in early 2019.
It is worth noting that Amazon is actively conducting blockchain research and regularly receives patents for development in the field of cryptography and distributed data storage, and the service of the cloud infrastructure Amazon Web Services was used in the blockchain network Red Belly Blockchain, during the test the bandwidth of which rose to 30 thousand transactions per second. At the same time, Amazon customers support the idea of creating Amazon Coin.
